Directions

1. Wipe plate with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
2. Lightly freehand melon slice with pencil.
3. Brush a solid coat Neon Red in melon flesh.
4. Brush a solid coat Light Kiwi in rind portion of melon. Let dry.
5. Brush two coats Ruby Shimmer over the red portion of melon and two coats Emerald Shimmer over the Light Kiwi painted rind. Let dry.
6. Write “U R 1 in a MELON” with French Dimension and make seeds inside red portion. Let dry.
7. Place on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
8. Brush two coats Pure Brilliance around the melon, over words and back of plate.  Let dry.
9. Stilt and re-fire to cone 06.
