Wonderfully Wintery Sweater Mugs

• Marshmallow Crème (DUNCA TM301-004) Discontinued
• Potter's Sponge - Synthetic (CLSP001)
• Frozen (DUNCA TM315-004)

Directions

1. Wipe all mugs with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
2. COZY SWEATER 20 OZ. MUG:  Brush three coats of Frozen to inside mug.  Let dry.
3. Using No. 10 brush, apply a thorough coat of Frozen to the textured area of mug. 
4. While paint is slightly wet, wipe across with sponge to remove upper layers of paint leaving paint in the recessed textured areas. Let dry.
5. Brush three coats of Marshmallow Crème to upper and bottom areas of mug.  Let dry.
6. Brush three coats Frozen to handle. Let dry.
7. Stilt mug on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
8. COZY SWEATER BOWL:  Brush three coats of Marshmallow Crème to inside bowl. Let dry.
9. Brush Indigo on both sides of braided knit pattern. While damp, wipe back to antique. Let dry.
10. Brush three coats Frozen to remaining bowl. Let dry.
11. Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
12. COZY SWEATER TUMBLER:  Pour some Frozen inside tumbler, roll around to coat sides and pour out remaining paint in clean container.
13. Using No. 10 Round, paint the braided knit designs around tumbler with Indigo making sure paint goes into the textured crevices. 
14. Use sponge to wipe back paint leaving the paint remaining in the crevices.
15. Brush Frozen over remaining areas of tumbler. 
16. Wipe back the two thin stripes between the knit and brush over with a coat of Marshmallow Crème. Let dry.
17. Stilt tumbler and fire to cone 06.
18. COZY SWEATER MUG: Brush three good coats Frozen to entire mug including inside. Let dry.
19. Stilt and fire to cone 06.
