Cozy Sweater Mugs

This Project Uses

• Cozy Sweater 16 oz. Mug bisque (case) (DUNCA 38318C)
• Cozy Sweater 16 oz. Mug bisque (DUNCA 38318)
• Cozy Sweater 20 oz. Mug (DUNCA 35982)
• No. 6 Fan Glaze brush (DUNCA SB807) Discontinued
• Pure Brilliance (gallon) (DUNCA PB001-128)
• Potter's Sponge - Synthetic (CLSP001)
• Really Red (DUNCA CN074-002) Discontinued

Directions

1. Wipe mug with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
2. Tape around raised textured area of mug.
3. Brush three coats Really Red to textured area. Let dry.
4. Use damp sponge to wipe back paint leaving paint inside crevices of texture. Let dry.
5. Remove masking tape.
6. Place mug on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
7. Pour some Pour Brilliance inside mug and roll around to coat sides.
8. Brush two coats to base, mug and handle. Let dry.
9. Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
