Meditating Buddha

This Project Uses

• Sitting Buddha bisque (DUNCA 40653)
• Sea Glass (DUNCA TM316-004)
• Pure Brilliance (4 oz.) (DUNCA PB001-004) Discontinued
• Premium Gold (DUNCA OG805)
• Luster Essence (DUNCA OA901)
• No. 6 Fan Glaze brush (DUNCA SB807) Discontinued
• No. 1 Liner brush (DUNCA SB802) Discontinued
• No. 8 Round brush (DUNCA SB811) Discontinued
• Potter's Sponge - Synthetic (CLSP001)

Directions

1. Wipe Buddha with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
2. Brush 3-4 coats of Sea Glass to entire Buddha. Let dry thoroughly between coats.
3. Brush two coats of Pure Brilliance to base of Buddha. Let dry.
4. Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 06.
5. Pour small amount of Gold on palette. Using end of paintbrush, dip in a little gold and dab on each nodule on headpiece.
6. Use Liner brush to paint simple wavy design on garment trim. Let dry.
7. Stilt on kiln shelf and fire to cone 018.

When using Fired Gold, work in well ventilated area. Clean brush with Essence and use brush for gold work only.
