Standing Budai

This Project Uses

• Standing Budai bisque (DUNCA 40655)
• Black (DUNCA OS476-002)
• Bronze (DUNCA UM953-002)
• No. 10 Round brush (DUNCA SB812) Discontinued
• Potter's Sponge - Synthetic (CLSP001)

Directions

1. Wipe figure with damp sponge to remove bisque dust.
2. Pour small puddle of Black on palette.
3. Use No. 10 Brush to totally coat Buddha with Black. Let dry.
4. Pour small puddle of Bronze on foil or palette.
5. Dip tip of flat stiff bristle brush in paint and wipe off excess paint on paper towel.
6. Begin “dry brushing” against the raised face features, wrinkles of robe, etc.
7. Continue brushing over front and back until you’ve achieved a faux bronze look.
8. Paint base with Black as desired. Let dry.
